Noel joined M.E. Hanahoe Solicitors in 2025, having previously practised for over a decade as a criminal defence solicitor in England. He has extensive experience representing clients at police stations, Magistrates’ Courts and Crown Courts, and now advises and represents clients before Garda stations and the District Court in Ireland.

Noel has developed a strong practice in criminal defence, regularly assisting clients at the earliest stages of criminal investigations and throughout court proceedings. His experience includes representing clients facing a broad range of criminal charges, including serious and high-profile matters. He is recognised for his ability to remain calm under pressure, provide practical advice in challenging circumstances, and ensure that every client receives robust and effective representation.

Drawing on his experience as a qualified Duty Solicitor in England, Noel is well accustomed to advising clients at short notice, often in complex and fast-moving situations. He is committed to protecting his clients’ rights and ensuring that the strongest possible defence is presented on their behalf.

Before qualifying as a solicitor, Noel worked in the technology sector for a number of years and has a strong academic background spanning law, computer science, mathematics and financial crime. This diverse experience gives him a unique perspective when dealing with cases involving technical, financial or digital evidence.
